Photography + Collage.

A series of photographs taken on Egyptian highways and roads. A documentation of the city expansion through the Z axis, taking over vertical spaces that bridge between the existing city of Cairo and the new urban expansions of the city.

The photographs are overlapped into a digital collage that creates an imaginary and exaggerated form of vertical space invasion. An expression of a surreal form of a layered city, that started to seem less surreal.‎
